The best for you is to go to a showroom selling cameras and explore all the brands and price. After that, you can take your final decision. I am saying this because there are too many brands in the market to chose from.

Nikon is best in every way..more than that the person behind the camera is most important .If you are creative you can make best pictures.for the news papers magazines ,the pictures can decorate covers of magazines and books etc .Photojournalists are rare tribe all over the world.
