Not true.

I can give u 10000000 examples. I will just give 1 to keep it short.

John L. Sullivan was THE world's most legendary boxer of all time he was in late 1800s till 1900s, the dude went broke after his career as a boxer, and yet several decades later we r seeing him in boxing hall of fame.

Also Narayan, a LOT of folks get ridiculed and fame only follows after they die.

Fame does not come with money only but by ur good behaviour and deeds also and it has nothing to do with money

It is true for the fame which comes due to money. But the fame which comes due to good work (like Mother Terisa) lives on even after death of the person
