In what way the Public Sector Undertakings' employees are inferior to Central Govt. employees? While Central Govt. employees are entitled to pension and medical facilities after retirement, why the same are denied to the Public Sector Enterprises? Why the Central Govt. is following discriminatory policy and double standards in respect of some PSUs (mainly Public Sector Banks) while a Govt. of India Undertaking like National Seeds Corporation (NSC) wholly owned by Govt. of India under the Min. of Agri., are deprived of both pension and CGHS facilit. Violation of Human. Rights. Solution
At the very outset, I may clarify it is not voilation of Human Rights and Discrimination. I also retired from PSU i.e. IOC as an Executive, we do not have pension but getting interest on Annuity from LIC from our self generated funds. We are not entitled to CGHS, but IOC is providing medical facility both for hospitalisation and dormatory treatment. We had been given Provident Fund and Gratuity. In PSU, while joining the organisation, you sign a contract which stipulates certain conditions wheres when you join Govt: Orgn, you go as per the normal Govt: rules.
