Q.
Can a person with a liberal attitude be friendly with one with a narrow mind-set ? Is there any chance of the two coming to an understanding, ever ?

You have already answered yourself.. For a person with liberal attitude will have no problem to understand with narrow mind set people.. but in reverse ... for a person with narrow mind set will have always problem to mingle with other mind set peoples..
