And we call this a SECULAR nation. Sikh wear a turban, now it is the turn of muslims. Why are hindus standing back? Let us have saffron dressed policemen with kudumi (sikha or tuft of hair on shaven heads)and rudrash! Shame on us!

Yes, SC has given its nod as well. He can sport beard for religios reasons. There is no law that prohibits him from having one while on duty.
