Sorry! I do not agree with you. With all respects to Anna, I say that he is NOT the greatest leaders EVER born on this EARTH. He is only one of the greats in India. Anna cannot match Gandhiji. He has only a few qualities of Gandhiji.

I don't agree, he is just in it for the media fame. U know it too. Corruption in India happens due to cultural factors, not governmental as govt is a function of the public. I'll give u an example. It costs me and u about 10 lakh per annum to train an IIT engineer. Yet, after getting their degrees most of them are on a rush to America or England, shafting the exchequer. If an IIT grad can cheat an exchequer for 100,000 USD or 250,000 USD per annum why not politicians, who get the opportunity to do the same for 2000 times the amounts?

We have an exclusive family culture, so corruption happens as people accumulate wealth and security for their families. The only way around this is to ban private property, which would effectively ban inheritance. When u ban private property and inheritance, people will stop being corrupt as the notion of safeguarding the family for 20,000 generations does not arise.

Anna is also not a democratic leader. For one, he called on mobs to thrash anyone ...more

No doubt he do represent the feelings of all Indians.
But i am not agreeing to your version.
There is a saying in "TAMIL Language". When there is no SUGAR in the area, then
"ILLUPAI FLOWER - Looks like SUGAR" is treated as SUGAR.
Like that Anna Hazare.
Please do not equate him with BAPUJI.
He is not having clear Idea of what he requires.
Many times, he is contradicting HIM.
Nor his team is having Morale.
Many people think if they are not in alien with Anna Hazare, ...more

Will someone tells me what happens to Mr TN Sheshan, where is he now? Great peoples come work and gone. No one remember them lastly. Till the TN Sheshan becomes the election commissioner no one knows the duty of the election commissioner he shows the power of the election commissioner and everyone knows what he has done. There are laws there are lacs of cases pending in court. Lawyers are making money, eating blood of poor peoples. What Anna has done and what will happens if there are the corrupt people among us. One more law will come and some people will get more benefited by that. Bring some law that will feed the old and poor people of India and stop the media who all are airing some pictures /videos of our poor to the world resulting bad name in the other countries and getting huge amount for advertisement.

For todays's generation of India, Annaji is a great leader and many call him the father of the nation. The only issue on which he has to answer the youth is that he has not opposed the recent reservations for minorities based on religion even after knowing that reservations for Muslims is not going to uplift their status. 60 years of reservations has not even filtered to the masses. What this 4% is going to do is the question youth are asking? His fame is definitely greater than Bapuji because of the huge population India has today, news media and also because of the massive youth participation. Therefore I agree 100% with your statement which is obviously the message we are getting from the answers in qna.
