Brazil is also just like India! Just because Neymar and another good playercould not play, they lost miserably (Seven goals to One!!). Here also if Sachin did not play we used to lose the match miserably!!

Absolutely not. In last five six years his career, Sachin was the dreaded liability of Indian cricket team. Players like Sourav, Rahul Laxman , Sehwag brought more victories when Sachin hardly performed.

Brazil's case is completely different. In the past Brazil excelled when there were excellent combination of illustrious players like Pele Tostao, Garincha, Vava Didi , later Zico and Socrates, then Romario and Bebeto, Ronaldo and Ronadinho, Kafu, Dunga and Rai.

But, now, you never know who teamed up with Neymar? Brazil had neither penetrating attack, nor a solid defense. In the group league, Mexico very well demonstrated where Brazil stood . In the quarter finals, Chile should have winner within regulation time, showing wide cracks in Brazilian defense. The inevitable thing happened when they faced the ever consistent powerful German team. N o regret that the weaker team lost to much superior side.

Matches should be won by the teams not by the individuals. That is the message it gives.

Well said I agree with your statement..The semifinals between Brazil and Germany in which Germany beat Brazil Seven goals to one in the absence of Neymar a front line striker of Brazil and their captain Silva is a testimony to how bad it is to depend on one or two players in "team games" like football, volleyball, cricket, etc., It is the entire teams performance that ultimately help a team to victory and have a final laugh/triumph.

Absence of exceptional players like Neymar, Sachin etc can demoralize any good team. That was what happened to Brazil against Germany.
