In world ranking, the CommonWealth games come third, after the Asian Games.. The IOlympics, as expected, ranks first. But, to comnpare the standards of participants of CommonQWealth games and Asian Gmes, is practically difficult. For example, Jamaica participates in the CommonWealth games, and is there any athlete to come anywhere near the Jamaican athletes in the sprint items of 100 Meters and 200 Meters?Who cqan beat the kenyans in the long distance races of 5000Meters, 10000 Meters and the marathon? dont forget that Nigeria has world class athletes in 100 M and 200M. Australians as an athletic team, is a force to reckon with..Great sprinters of Japan, Quatar and SriLanka and women athletes from India had set the tracks ablaze in the last asian Games. But can they stand upto the performance of the mightier athletes from non-asian CommonWealth countries, competing in the same items, is anybody\'s guess.
