Hello Karishma, For any interview you need to be prepared for 2 sets of things. One being your subject related i.e questions related to Electrical Engineering. The other being non-proces related i.e very generic but questions related to mind game. Some of the questions that can be asked by them are:

1) As an engineer what change would you bring to take India forward?

2) Where do you see yourself 5 years down the line?

They will test you communication skills and your confidence levels in giving answers.

Remember one thumb rule. If u dont know answer for any particular question confidently reply that you dont know. Never try to give some answer just to escape the situation.

well for Placements for IT companies/non-It companies u need to first clear the APTITUDE TEST

for that start preparinf from R.S Agwarwal

if u clear Aptitude test then only u are eligible for techincal and HR round

First decide in which Domin is ur interest is and then prepare on that,
in interviews communication skills , aptitude will be common,

Now embedded and VLSI are booming one.
