If it is entirely up to a woman to save the money, it makes matters much more simple. All she has to do is to manage her emotions. The savings would happen by itself. By nature, woman is already equipped with that saving habit. It may sound quite strange, especially when we look at the bulk of city-bred, city-dwelling, and white-collared-working women.
But at least in India, the bulk of savings happens through women-folk in and around villages. Maybe, their savings do not get conserved due to extraneous reasons, not by themselves.
When a woman is in a bit of serious mood, with a mind pre-occupied about handling the daily routine of the family, with such a mood, even if she goes out for shopping, no amount of persuasion by a salesperson would tempt her to spend on luxury items. And for daily household needs, an experienced shopkeeper would easily foresee a hectic bargaining session in the offing!

Value money, save for great work for the future which makes a difference after fulfilling your needs. Be accountable towards your family. Do not get excited by seeing the offers available in market, offers always comes, its not new. Check, how you and your husband work hard to get that money.
