Both the national parties that is Congress and BJP has lost its roots in UP to BSP and Samajwadi party. Harijans votes gone to BSP and BC , minority votes to Samajwadi party. By looting the state alternatively BSP and Samajwadi party are keeping the cadre happy with money and power. And the all important intellectual middle classes does not care to vote. Since the BJP and Congress have only leaders and no grass root workers in them they are losing heavily in spite of tall talks.

Though BJP claims to be different than all other parties, when come to power, they are the same politicians like any other party. After coming to power in UP, infighting started most of them behaving oneupmanship and general public never approves such behaviour with any leader.
