I am optimistic.and I am sure that the situation cannot go from bad to worse. There is no magic wand to bring in Acche din.Any party claiming to bring Acche din should be allowed suitable time to bring them.
The BJP should give a quality governance with immediate effect . Eradicating corruption and getting quality works done should be the prime targets. Direct purchase from the farmers and sale to the end customers will benifit the farmers, the end customers and the government .

I feel that we are being too short sighted and being unreasonable on our expectations of time lines. Previous govt preferred populism over prudence and postponed all tough decisions. Hence those decisions had to be taken before it is too late.

Onion and Potato prices are seasonal. If I remember, last year Onion had hit a peak price of 100/- per Kg. Hence nothing unusual

Unfortunately, all these steps were unpopular. If the new Govt. fails to check the price rise, people who have voted them in to power will have no option but revolt.
