The Mela begins from 9.30 a.m. and closes at 5.30 p.m. each evening from 1st to 15th February every year.
The very first effort on organizing cultural events on a national level by Haryana Tourism was done with the launching of the annual and now internationally famous Surajkund Crafts Mela, that began in 1981. The Crafts Mela celebrates the finest handlooms and handicrafts traditions of country. It is a fortnight long event that embodies the spirit that runs through the people of India and its rich culture. It is held in the month of February from 1st-15th. The Surajkund Crafts Mela is held just 8 km from south Delhi.
Surajkund lies in the Faridabad district on the Delhi - Agra national highway. Surajkund is 8 kms from South Delhi. Special transport link the Mela ground to major bus stops in Delhi, Gurgaon and Faridabad towns.

Suraj Kund mela held near Badkhal Lake
easiest way to go there from Gurgaon is come to Andheri more near Chattarpur temple ( Mehrauli) in New Delhi , go straight on to Batra hospital side before badarpur there is a road going towards Faridabad known as Tughlakbad shooting range road/ Suraj kund Road
turn to that road , it will take you to the exact location
