Upper & lower lakes in the city are great evening hang outs; one of a kind art gallery - Bharat Bhawan is a must visit. Sanchi Stupas at Sanchi is an important buddhist pilgrimage destination. Also, an hour away from the city is Bhimbetka, a UNESCO declared world heritage site.
