Alcatraz Prison, more widely known as \"The Rock\" sits in the middle of San Francisco Bay. Alcatraz was originally many things such a military fortification in 1850 and a military prison in 1907 before finally becoming a federal prison in 1934 and a national park in 1972. From the oldest lighthouse to its rock pools and seabird colony which is all set with the backdrop of San Francisco, something darker lurks within its hallways and cells.
