Nothing is gone with the Wind if we don't allow that to go off and everything is gone with the wind if we let that happen. === If you are asking about the movie, it is one hell of a movie, considered one of the all time greats, set in one of the Southern states during the unpredictable times of the American civil war.

Gone With the Wind was an idea of America ( liberty, equality and pursuit of happiness for all ) during and as a result of American Civil War. This was restored by the then President Abe Lincoln . That is also why the history of US post civil war is called since or after Restoration .
