Q.

On the other hand people like Godse or Osama bin laden have political goals and they have been presenting these political goals in the language of religion. In the face of Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur, Lt Col Prasad Shrikant Purohit, Swami Dayanand Pandey and company, all those inspired by the agenda of Hindu Rashtra, the temptation to call this terrorism as Hindu terrorism has to be resisted. Religion needs to be de-linked form politics and terrorism; both. ?

Godse or Osama bin laden are not in the same league because Godse's grouse was based on one community being given too much favour at the expense of another (as per his perception). Unlike Osama bin laden his hatred had nothing to do with how various people expressed their devotion to God.
You are right that the temptation to call this terrorism as Hindu terrorism has to be resisted. These people (mentioned by you) claim to be conducting some kind of counter - terrorism to protect their community.
I agree that Religion needs to be de-linked form politics and terrorism. Unscrupulous elements are misusing religion to brain wash innocent minds and use them to further their own political goals.

Not possible. If you look in to the history, most of the religions (more precisely Jewish, Catholics and Islam) have survied centiries on fundamental stones of terrorism and political power and if these are delinked the religions will die.
