Walk a mile in (one's) means to experience what another person experiences. Before crticizing some one , we should also think what they think on that issue as was rightly said by Jack Hadey.

Not necessarily an ordinary people, criticizing the Politicians, Scam-makers, international DRUG-DONS, terrorists etc. need to walk a mile in their shoes ?
