Barfi getting 4-1/2 star rating-Great acting by Ranbir and Priyanka- Thanks to Anurag Basu's Direction- Are you game to watch it over the week end then ??

These ratings etc have no meaning in today's era where the producers and directors have the reviewers in their pockets. "Watch it for yourself and decide" is the mantra to rate movies.
No doubt the movie is sweet, different and beyond the thinking of an average director. The performance of Ranbir and Priyanka are award winning one's. Yet, I would just rate it an above average movie. Too slow for it's kind, very confusing, lacks that entertainment factor and more over, that vital X-factor is missing. Good movies like Taare Zameen Par and 3 Idiots not necessarily got 4 and 5 stars. Also, the first day collections of Barfi (a mere Rs.80 million or Rs.8 crores) in itself speaks out volumes.
