A good politician is one who connects with the people and has good will in the constituency he chooses. He has to also get the caste , creed, religion mix right. Azharuddin having led the Indian cricket team knows a word or two about leadership. It is important now , how he connects with the masses , what work he does for them and how much the party cadres support him. This will tell whether he will make a good politician or not.

He has been charged with backroom illegal deals on play. As you can see with the current crop of congress, SP etc and his earlier stint, he is in perfect company
