Joy,
On first reading my answer can be taken as irrelevant to the question, but I want to reply you with some rational references,
IF I HAVE TO REPLY IN ONE WORD, THAN CERTAINLY YES
I can give a reference of study which was carried out by a team headed by Dr. Manning from the Population Biology Research Group, at the School Of Biological Sciences at The University of Liverpool. The team was looking for a relationship between the length of the fourth finger, and the various levels of male and female sex hormones. They looked at some 800 people in all - 400 males and 400 female in the local Merseyside area. Their 800 people ranged from toddlers just two years old, up to adults 25 years old. On average, the men were likely to have longer fourth fingers, and on average, the women were more likely to have longer second fingers.

I don't thinkit is possible, at least not for me.
Because there r several boys or men whose fingers are slim, soft and long like those of females and similarly girls and women whose fingers are short and not very soft or smooth, not being like how we normally attribute it to the females.
So wherein lies thedifference, i dont know. May b if there is some other quality which helps to distinguish btween the two, i am not aware of it.
