Friend,STT is .125%(point125%) for example if you buy 100 shares @ rs.100/- total amount is rs.10,000/- on this brokerage is .5%tn(50/-),12% service charge on brokerage(6/-),3% education cess on ser.charge(0.18),stamp charge is rs.1/- for 20,000/- below (1/-), stt .125% on 10,000/-(12.5). total 10,000/-+50/-+6/-+.18+1+12.5=10069.68.
