It came up in classified ad for jobs in a leading daily--A renowned educational group of WB invites applcns for the post of DIRECTOR for its upcoming mangemnt college,proposed to be of world class standrd. The applicant must be dynamic,innovative,imaginative and capable of providing outstanding leadership, in the age grp of 40-60 and preferably with IIM bkgrnd. Salary package: 1.5-2 Lac per annum.
My question is...Wat is the present estd pay package pa for a fresh IIM passout ? Are mid-aged IIM passouts so dispensable nowadays that they may be available for this paltry sum for this post??

Its only one of a case where IIM pass out student gets a high value package . This happens only with the quality person. For an example if you are talanted no matter from where you are passing out you will earn a good package. Same its just rumors that IIM is the only that can provide you with Sucess

Dis qstn give me a good sleep .nice to see u take up thiz izzue . wot ever they are paid is lill , inadequate , candies , throwaways in a way where big fish are living like old colonoial kings .
how da ya think servants to get as good as masters in greedy corporate world ..d real bosses in govt corporations are poiticans and private corporations are corporate moghuls ..
if education is all d criterions to take mone then iim's iit's pazz out will get better than corporate moghulzs who r less educated ..this is one great pain of uncontrolled economy where masters buy out learned servants on market forces ..
philophically it helpzzs lot better to see at people with lezzer recources
wot most are doing is building scyscrapers amongst the ruins shanty ghettos with least concern to the majority
as some one said the real value of education is simple living and high thinking ..the sun never sets on such people
hope a day commeths when saleries are distributed according to meritzs onl ...more

It depends how you take . majority of Indians live under 2000- 5000 earning bracket . by that standard this sum is princely salary
