Q.
Asaram Bapu was at the centre of a controversy sparking outrage after he suggested that the Delhi gang-rape victim was equally responsible for the crime and said the girl could have called her assailants brothers and begged them to stop...is this right comment?

Remove 'A' and he becomes 'SARAM' Bapu. As Pradipta Pati says in his answer 'if the deer edifies the lion praising for his valor and prays to leave him instead of killing him...would the lion oblige!
Just because some 'blind followers' believe whatever this 'elephant' says, he cannot accept people to digest his foolish statements.

It is a reflection of the person's poorly developed intellect and outdated moral upbringing. This is the way he thinks. He is not expected to think in any other manner. How can we expect a person like Asaram who lives in a make believe world surrounded by Sycophant followers to talk sense on social subject. These kind of gurus make a living not by using their intelligence but by committing to memory passages from religious books and vomiting them out in front of their followers. A child with limited knowledge is not expected to talk sense. It can only talk some gibberish and make some noise. Asaram is not an intellectual who can be expected to make any sensible comment. Knowing his mental capasity one need not get shocked or surprised at what he had said.
