As per reports IMD is still optimistic that monsoons this year will be normal with about 4 percent variation on Long Period Average (LPA)? Any comments?

It can be so but we will have to wait for it. At present it seems that the shortfall is getting covered but not so much that it can be said now that it would be close to normal monsoon this year. We need to wait for a week to ten days before any final evaluation can be done!!

Even Montek singh has said its too early to say that monsson is bad. Let us wait for 0ne or 2 weeks and things will be clear.
