Being an ENTREPRENEUR is a Death Wish in India
This vast topic is vaguely understood by me, although, since a write-up is necessary to be written, therefore, through research I found that India is ninth in the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) survey of entrepreneurial countries. It is highest among 28 countries in Necessity based entrepreneurship, while 5th from the lowest in opportunity based entrepreneurship.
So, the conclusion comes that people in India react faster to Necessities than to Opportunities! There is not at all any problem in the above procedure, in fact, it is human nature to act and react in a better way towards necessities than towards opportunities. The problem lies in the fact that the so called countries which are above India in terms of development have realized that seeking opportunities automatically leads to fulfillment of necessities. India, however, is populated today by people who seek more of necessities than opportunities.
