Q.
Should we not think about the entire world?
When somebody takes side of a state because he belongs to that state, then it is said that he is narrow minded. He is advised to rise above the notion of state and think about the country.
When somebody takes side of his country, then he is called a patriot.
But why should one think about only his country? Isn't it better to think what is good for the entire world?

This question does not hold any Value + Out of Scope to the common man. In fact, to many people (say 3/4) !! Why? There are many reasons:
#1 Limited Life: Life is too tight for them to to get involved into 'other' things. For them all it matters to secure bare minimum necessities - Home, Food, Work, etc. To secure such things, at least 1/2 life life would be gone! (securing for family, etc). Plus, another 1/4 life more problems at home (children, etc). If you ask such a struggling man like, "Hey! Why don't you contribute for the state or nation?". Person would get upset and definitely ask, "What the hell this Govt. has done to me after taking my votes and what good is it doing to the people?!!". So, how can such a person contribute?
#2 Capacity & Capability: To many people, this is the big hindrance for doing some good work. Either they don't have Capacity to do or Capability. For some, both would be there or both won't be there! But, good number indulge in another form on building ...more

Its not possible to think about the entire world . first & foremost thing that shud be done by us is to grow a responsible family that knows its duty towards the society , the society can work for the betterment of the country , the country in turn can think for the sake of the world, v have to follow this hierarchy in order to make the world a better place to live . remember " bood bood se hi sagar banta hai" each step counts

My friend, I totally endorse u r views, but humanity is at least 10000 years behind in evolution 4 that 2 happen!
In India, the degree of apathy is SO prevailent that people aren't even able to think about anything beyond the 4 walls of their homes. We need people 2 think nationally first, before we can gt 'em to think globally.

It is good
but we cannot think of the world
because we may be unaware of so many global issues
even otherwise we feel that we cannot think of the world on our own
