Generic drugs are drugs made by manufacturers other then brand name holder.
So Rainbaxy , Cipla ,Lupin, Dr.Reddy , Mankind and all the other Indian companies which make the molecules for whcih other MNC have brand IP or patent are generic manufacturers.
In India Every medical store sells generic drugs so don't worry.
Just ask medical store owner they have a book called CIIMS which lists brands by generic drug molecule name and he can look up and tell various equivalent brands.
