Parth = Son of Prutha. Prutha was another name of Kunti. Arjuna is also known as Kaunteya.

Arjun bears an additional ten names: Kounteya, Phalguna, Jishnu, Kireeti, Shwetavaahana, Bheebhatsu, Vijaya, PARTHA, Savyasaachi, and Dhananjaya. PARTHA because he was the son of PRITHA which is another name of KUNTI his mother (and mother of other four Pandavas' ).
