The time that you are most susceptible to be bitten is between dusk and dawn - outdoors and inside, but some preventative measures can be used to avoid the bite of the mosquito.

Various ways can be followed to reduce the risk of being bitten, but following all available recommendations will help reduce the risk.

1.
Wearing Protective Clothing
Although it may sound simple, the wearing of clothes that cover your otherwise exposed skin can go a long way to prevent being bitten by the malaria carrying mosquito. Wear protective clothes such as long pant and long sleeved shirts.

Just adding to Rabindranath Sahu answer.
What causes the mosquito to breed in the are in first place.
mosquito lays it eggs in standing water.
if you fill a bottle with water from the a standing pool the little creatures going up and down with one tail are mosquito larvae.
Remove all areas of standing water and don't give mosquito a chance to breed.
Okay one can't go and fill all the pools of water, but a some old used oil of any kind if poured in the pool (one only need little to create a film of oil on the surface) then all the larvae will die within minutes.
Larvae can not penetrate the oil film to breathe air and mosquito can not penetrate the oil film to lay eggs.
Do your bit when you Mother has finished with the cooking oil and is ready to throw out Keep it in a bottle . go and put some in all the water ponds near your hose.
We can't eradicate all but if every one did that then there will be less mosquito.
