Q.
If you go straight on the east side on earth till the end, you reach west. then why east is called east and why not west?

Because you REACH west after moving upto the other end which is east. They are the two ends of one thread only !

..first of all, there was no end.
When you go straight east, you will come back from west, but for your point of reference, you are still travelling in eastern direction.
Since earth is a sphere.
That is why east is not west.
