This list includes those Nobel Laureates born in India but later emigrated abroad, those born outside India to Indian parents and those Non Indians who immigrated to India and took Indian citizenship, In all, there are Nine Nobel Prize winners included in the list, 1) RabindraNath Tagore,1913-Literature 2) C V Raman 1930- Physics 3)Dr,S Chandrasekhar 1983-Physics, US citizenship 4)Har Gobind Khurana 1968-Medicine US Citizenship 5)Mother Teressa 1979_Peace -Immigrated to India 6)Amrtya Sen 1998-Economics 7)V,S Nai Paul 2001- Literature,Indian born in Trinidad 8)Rajendra Pachauri was Chairman of the UN Commission on climatic studies which was awarded the Nobel for Peace in 2008 and 9) Venkataraman Ramakrishnan 2009- Chemistry, US Citizenship, It may be of interest to recollect that Ronald Rose who got the Nobel for medicine in 1902 was born in Almora, India and was brought up in India, Similarly, Rudyard Kipling who got the Nobel for Literature in 1907, was born in Bombay

Only one .Rabindra nath Tagore.Others have received by staying out side the country.Though they r indian origin ,have taken the citizenship of other countries including Amritya Sen.

The first one Rabindranath Tagore for his Geetanjali...and the recent being Mr. Amirtya Sen for Economics...! And the remaining I have to recollect leisurely...!!
