Are some of the old guards like VVS Laxman indispensible for Indian test cricket for some more time? Your views?

A player who is in form, capable of playing in the given conditions of the place where the matches are going to be played becomes indispensable for that series. If Laxman is picked for a particular series it is not because he is an old gaurd but because his present forms and skills meets the requirement for that situation.

Nobody is indispensable in this world. they are RESPONSIBLE for downfall of Indian Cricket. you have missed out one name: Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar. he is on the top of the list.
