Yes.. definitely becuase they are not biodegradable and hence end up polluting our water bodies and soil. If we burn them then the toxic chemicals they release pollute the air.
They have their uses but it is to be debated whether their harmful effects outweigh their uses.

Not all polymers are curse- the plastic bags may be . However there are lots of othr uses of plastics which help environement.e.g in your car, they reduce the weight of the car increasing the fuel efficiency. Even biodegradable plastics are also available. Polymers can also be recycled and reused.

Yes they are. They are so harmful to our environment. They spoil all the natural resources. Mainly the fertility of the soil gets affected and fumus in the soil gets reduced.
