Sanjeev.. India is a Civilisation with Cultural Diversity.. It is Unique in its way and different from other Civilisations.. Since India is a Land of Migrations so its had developed an Natural Socio-Economic Structure which remain Untouched even though the Land faced numerous invasions and Colonisation..

But Britishers studied India Economy Structure and attacked the Social Structure which was the back-bone of Indian Civilisation.. They exploited all the structure separetly.. Brahmins and Mullahs were used to understand the Social System and were part of Judiciary.. Traders (Vaishs) facilitated towards the Trading.. Kshatriyas(Rajas) and the Shudras (farmers) were the worst effected.. Kshatriya losts their Kingdoms and Shudras had No Mai-bap..

But after almost 100 years of de-structured Socio-economy base of India.. Indian Constitution further added a discriminatory policy of Reservation.. and this was again created an alienation from the main Structure.. The Post Independence ...more

If you speak with those who are below 30 years of age , they are full of self confidence about themselves and the nation . They not only feel proud to belong to this country but also proud that she is doing so well. They do NOT suffer any hangups from the colonial era.
That generation which felt subservient to the sahibs from London has disappeared. The economy of Western Europe has faced a hit and it is the future and economy of India that appears buoyant.
If by freedom you mean insulation from Britain, it is not possible in a global world and a global economy.
India will be linked to other countries of the world through trade and business aprtnerships. But at the same time she is definitely NOT bowing down in front of anyone.

Yes India has got freedom but its total population hasn't.Many of our people even do not know their rights.Freedom is limited to a particular class of people.Rest of the people are still under privileged and exploited, this time not by British but by his own countrymen.British policy and rules are still there.Divide and Rule. Now also our leaders adopted the same in the name of caste, creed, region, religion and so on.They weep for under privileged when time comes and forget everything when the time passes out.All in the name of Aam Admi, but Aam Admi are still remained slaves in a different manner.

We are using buildings, schools, hospitals, bridges, railways, etc built by the English. Someone said we would be living in huts now, had not they uplifted our people through education, etc. Girls and women were taught because of them. sati was removed because of missionaries, even though missionaries were not approved by the English.

What India needs is freedom from superstitions, spiritual blindness; they need to know the one true God.
