Is it the DMK which alone is responsible for such an state of affair in Tamilnadu. A party which gets 50 lac votes will win the election in TN. That means at 5k all they need to give is Rs 2500 crores. Both the DMK and ADMK were /are demanding 10% of the cost of a industrial project in Tamilnadu and every year Tamilnadu is getting new business units worth over 50 thousand crores. That means any party which wins will get at least Rs 5000 crores per year as kickbacks or Rs 25000 crores for a tenure. The people here have no option except to choose between the two. As such they will opt for the party which gives more money as they feel that they are getting something due to them. The only option or remedy is to not have any coalition with either DMK or ADMK by Congress or DMDK or other parties in TN. When there is alternate emerges people will throw away both the parties.

Issue related to cash for vote is not a new issue. This has already been revealed by our own media when the incident took place. After having kept quite all these years it is ridiculous for opposition to rake up this issue again especial when there is nothing new being said in Wiki leaks disclosure. Cash for vote is an ongoing process in our country. So if oppositions wants to have some fun in stalling the regular productive business of the parliament, instead of raking up a dead issue they might as well wait for some new incident to take place for creating a ruckus. If a CAG study is made on how much money the nation has lost because of opposition stalling the proceedings of the house on trivial or dead issues, then there is a very high probability the loss may be much more than what is claimed to be a notional loss on 2G spectrum. So long there are people willing to get corrupted there will be corruption. As for DMK offering 5K per vote as revealed by Wiki leaks - is DMK the only p ...more

I fully endorse the view expressed sir, because if this is permitted to continue, a stage comes when even Modi will claim that the electorate has rejected the claim of other SECULAR parties about 2002 riots and so need not be taken up at all
