At the out set I thank you for the greetings and wish you the same.Ever since I joined to my 1st standard(No LKG during our days) I never missed to salute the National Flag on Republic Day and Independence Day.This is the day that is special for us to remember the "Constitution of India" which binds all of us together as one unit.It never failed us and will not also unless we weaken it by our frailties.Even after 62 years it is as relevant as it was and not lost its strength unlike the other neighbouring countries constitutions which were rewritten at least three times during the same number of years even less.It is we the people of India has to raise to the occation and safeguard the essence of our constitution whenever it demands in future.

Some facts about Republic Day and Indian Constitution -
On August 29, 1947, the Drafting Committee was appointed to draft a permanent constitution, with Dr.Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar as chairman.
A draft Constitution was prepared by the committee and submitted to the Assembly on November 4, 1947.
The Assembly met for 166 days, spread over a period of 2 years, 11 months and 18 days before adopting the Constitution.
After many deliberations, the 308 members of the Assembly signed two hand-written copies of the document on January 24, 1950.
The Constitution of India came into effect on January 26, 1950.

Flag hoisting.
There is nothing that beats this experience.
No matter, how much we like or dislike our leaders and the state of our nation, the experience of flag hoisting always have had top place.
