Movie is too long

Audience have liked khattameetha very much, although reviews were not good. this has been the case with most of priyadarsan films which will invariably be thrashed by critics but will become box office success due to audience loving it. bhagambhag is a classical example. do you remember that reviews of bhulbhulaiya were mostly negative, but the film went on to become a super success.even herapheri,got negative reviews, but audience started loving it, and critics now aknowledge it as a cult -classic. once in an interview priyadarsan had told that,he like critics thrashing his films because all such films go on to become box office-successes. since then critics has started criticising him with more vigour.
