Today they announced that it has entered into an agreement with GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) for acquiring its oral penicillin facility. here is the word from Dr Reddy's Laboratories' global generics business president Abhijit Mukherjee."It allows us to enter the US penicillin-containing antibacterial market segment and serve the needs of our customers and patients through manufacturing capabilities that did not previously exist within Dr Reddy's,"
Dr Reddy's Laboratories' consolidated net profit surged 32% to Rs. 286.62 crore on 1.8% rise in net sales to Rs. 1870.37 crore in Q2 September 2010 over Q2 September 2009.
