Start from CST station the station and surrounding buildings have a heritage value and are worth seeing. Foreigners take photo snops. Also their is a Fashion street, avoid going their or purchasing anything on the roads, however cheap it may seem because tourists are cheated and looted in the presence of police. Then you can walk towards Fort area, their you can have your lunch or snacks on the road side eateries. You will see the the Reserve Bank of India( Coin museum), the Asiatic Society or Central Hall and Bombay Stock exchange, a little further is the Gateway of India. You can also see the famous Tajmahal Hotel near it. Also the museum and Jehangir art gallery are near by. You can catch a ferry from Gateway of India and go to Elephanta caves, however it will take a whole day. Take a cab or walk if you have the patience and strength to face the summer heat, towards Nariman Point, Walk by the sea towards Girgaon chowpaty, a beach famous for massage(avoid having a massage).
