Q.

Sir,

i am pensioner and about to get Rs. 5L as my retirement benefits with a monthly pension of around 4 thousand. can u suggest a saving scheme as i have daughter of 10 years and a son of 1 year.

also i am paying an house loan EMI of Rs. 3000/- pm though the title is on my brother's name. would i repay the whole outstanding principle at one go from my terminal benefits or should i continue with the EMI. If i continue with the EMI, is there a way to get the title on my name by getting a loan from my pension account bank. if so, please give the necessary guidelines.

thank you,

VSS

I would like to suggesxt u whatever u finance in savings plan but should invest at least one lakh rupees in gold jewelleris. U have one daughter aged 10 years and have to arrange her marriage after at least 8 years and the price of gold would be most probably 35000 -40,000/- per 10 gram then that will unaffordable to u . U cannot expect from your son because at that the age of your child will be only 9. years. U will found yourself very miserable situation at that time. Now depends on u.
