Sriram, 75th film of Shivarajkumar is released this week. Ankitha is the heroine of the film. M.S. Ramesh of Dhum fame is the director. The story of Sriram is based on the concept of Ramayan in which Rama goes to 'vanavas' to keep up the promises made by his father. In film Sriram, hero leaves his native place under one such incident. Shivarajkumar's film Don that was released in second week of January was not up to the expectation of viewers. Sriram is also a high expectation film. Gurukiran has scored the music for this film and Venu is the cinematographer. Abhirami, Srinivasmurthy, Ashok, Sobharaj, Hema Chaoudhury, Sumitra, Kashi, Rangayanada Raghu etc are among the cast. Shivanna's film Nanjundi is in re-recording stage while the shooting of his another film Chigurida Kanasu based on Dr. Shivaram Karanth's novel is on.
