Nahi Shriman. Yeh koi North South divide nahi hai. Dhoni ki kya hasiat hai Vishvanathan ke saamne??

It is not north and south division. It is due to some sports get popularity in india especially cricket is having large patronage , even politicians, beaurocrates use to ask scores when the parliament is in session and that is a great pity indeed. Even if the cricketers lost the match , they are pampered unlike other sports, say chess, hockey, football , athletics etc. hence it is a great pity indeed even though Vishwanthan Anand made us proud by winning the crown thrice , his feat is not noticed. Even in Hockey, India defeated Australia in on going hockey match played at Malaysia and that is also went unnoticed. No one can match vishwanathan Anand and after 40 hours of journey by road and reaching the place damn tired , mind you chess is a mind game, one has to be alert always and after 40 hours journy , he won the coveted cup which is tremendous and more over the media also have not given the proper coverage and that is some what difficult to digest. any how Vishy won the coveted c ...more

This happens because the indians are mad for cricket, and no other sport attracts them that much, it has nothing to do with north south sir
