Irn south in dia it is a usual custom and even they say they have first right on matrnal uncles daughter/one of my assistant was south indian and he came to me to give me marriage invitaion of his own and very causally asked him a i rkashmind he told me he is matrenal unclesdaughter/my friend from north indi a overherd the and he gotso much infuriated that he told him mama ki ladki to apni behen hoti he sistery/how you dare to marry yiour sister//later on i came to know that such custom is in existant in muslim/parsi and christian communities and they marry parental first cousin/
