Not succeeded to the full - Neither of them.

But politicians do not take Subramaniam Swamy's legal fights lightly. They know very well that even if he fails eventually at the end, he can be handful and a source of sleepless nights for them.

But Anna Hazare was banking on mass support. This type of fights cannot sustain beyond a certain period of time.

Anna has the ability to bring people from differn walks of life under one banner to fight against corruption, which he has proved.Dr.Swamy ,on the other hand, is capable of unearthing Govt. corruption through his technical knowledge n experience.Besides,Anna is a Gandhian ,Dr.Swamy is a fighter against corruption against Govt. of the opposition.Anna spoke against corruption in general.Dr.Swamy talked of corruption by UPA Govt. only.He cold not see the corrupt activities of the Bellary barrons who not only looted Karnatak but also enjoyed power as ministers. So,both r different. But both succeeded in fighting against corruption.

See, the comparison is wrong. It is akin to compare two freedom fighters. Anna's movement may not provide the technically best solution to the problem of corruption in India. Gandhian intentions and strategies are not necessarily magical. But Anna's initiative has helped to aggregate citizen dissatisfaction into a movement. His guidance will surely help Indian to get out of this mess. On the Other hand, to challenge the mighty was not an easy job but Mr. Swamy proved it wrong and without succumbing to the pressure he did his job magnificiently.
