Agreed! Talks on the Lokpal Bill are not progressing as expected and if the attitude of the government does not change it may spell disaster soon. The government is turning its back on its promise. Govt had never been serious; only going through the motions. Former Union law minister and civil activist Shanti Bhushan has urged the government to hold an open debate on the Lokpal Bill so that the people of India get to know the stance taken by the various members of the drafting committee. If Kapil Sibal and Govt are at all serious about the drafting of lokpal bill, then why he is reluctant for live telecast of discussion as has been demanded by Anna team? It would be wise for the government not to gloat too much. Almost every scheme turns into a scam. At a time when cynicism is ruling people's minds, the government should give in to the demands of the civil society members of the Joint Drafting Committee.

From the news paper reports it appears that on some points there is an agreement between govt. and hazareji,In all our projects may be court case or delay in project or refund of tax we do not it appears bother about time, time is money and once time gone it gannot be brought back nor can be compensated by moniesgovt, should immediately isse an ordinance on the agreed points immediately .later on rule can be altered ,mofified or new colause can be added so that some of the benefits on agreed pointss tart flowing, when a person getsheart attack city scan ,angiography etc and iother tests are done but during all this time doctor gives medicines to patients so that his condition does not aggravate,Govt, not taking any action or zero action will invite automatic death of propsal and may ultimately cause anarchy.
