Q.
Trinamool Congress might have single-handedly thrashed CPI(M) and its allies in West Bengal elections but it is Congress which has added insult to the Left party's injury by winning more seats in the state.-please comment ,was that due to Mamta factor ?

I think this has mainly happened because the congress and the trinamool had fought the elections together, or else the votes of the opposition could have got divided and congress might have got some more seats

The people West Bengal have not forget the regime of Jyothi Basu, who is compared with the present (near past)CPI(M)government which are uncomparable probably. So people opted for a change whether it is Didi's factor or Sonia's immeterial.

This was due to cpi m factor.had the cpi party members looked after their electorate like jyoti da, this would note have happened and even mamta would have failed. there is no magical wand with mamta, it was the incumberncy factor which went in faour of mamta in wb and jayalalitha in tn
