Tax-payers' money or central funds are, of course, for development and defence of the country but at the same time it is also for the up-lift of unprivileged week and down-trodden.Though, wastage of any kind is criminal breach of trust and the culprits must be punished.

Except senior citizens, mentally & physically challenged persons and such ppl. all should be brought on common platform. Govt. should withdraw all subsidies, free power, free water, etc. and let ppl. pay for what they use as in any case it will reflect in economy growth or shortfall in one or otherway.
With the present system, tax payers land-up in taking additional burden for nothing whereas formers and certain class of ppl. enjoy the benefits but still inflation does not come under control nor there is any developmental activities to the extent of burden taken by tax payers.

If the really down trodden are benefitted then it is all right. I think the rich people are enjoying benefits and becoming richer while sincere and honest people are suffering. Let the govenment do social service to the poor instead of giving grants.
