Q.

An honorable member of this forum who gave enormous contributions to enrich this forum in the last 4 years stated his experience in other forums like this -------- Nobody cares to join a thread you have started, unless it is something very sleezy. Some members who joined these sites, returned to QNA when the havoc in QNA had been settled. The bonhomie we all witness here is totally lacking there. May be Indians are looked down upon by the Westerners. Even the Philippinos do not like to interact with Indians. Dont know why... Any comments?

I think thats quite natural. Difference in Culture and Nationality matters. They are interested and prefer to interact with the people of the same nationality with their own culture only. They may hesitate to interact with us mainly due to difference in culture and traditions and also they feel us as strangers.

All westerners who visit India write about our prevailing poverty, illiteracy, corruption n crime. They hardly write any thing about our culture n hospitality. This is the reason for which westerners consider India to be a third world country n underestimate Indians.

I would like to know the name of the member, as I fully agree with him that Indians are looked down upon everywhere - or no fault of theirs, but because of the highly inflated ego of these westerners

Looked down or up, today India is identified to be differed whereas 25-30 years back, India was nowhere in the list of nations to be mentioned for worth. As far as, not appreciating Indian ways, it may be natural for competing countries with India, but advanced countries like USA, France, Germany etc admire Indian progress and has great appreciation for Indian way of life, particularly the system of respecting elders.
