Founded in 1885 by Allan Octavian Hume, Dadabhai Naoroji, Dinshaw Wacha,Womesh Chandra Bonnerjee, Surendranath Banerjee,Monomohun Ghose, Mahadev Govind Ranade and William Wedderburn. All of these were a part of The Theosophical Society which is an organization formed in 1875 to advance the spiritual principles and search for Truth.

Allen Octavian Hume. A retired civil servant, who did not like the idea of British ruling India and organised the Freedom fighters and brought them on a single platform, Indian National Congress, and in that famous meeting held at Ferguson College, Pune said 'fight in an organised way'.

Fact which is more important is that Indian National Congress is a baby of Englishmen and as an Indian National Congress Englishmen are still rulling fates of Indians.
